The film industry in the midwest is rapidly growing, especially here in Toledo—where we’re central to to a number of major hubs! Working directly with the city’s Film Commission, our goal is to find and help cultivate new talent for upcoming local work!
Weekly Talent Swaps
Join us every Sunday to discuss different topics with peers throughout the industry. Meet and learn how others around the area tackle the various challenges of media creation, while providing insights and experience of your own.
Examples include:
- Camera Awareness and Movement
- Improv and Script Writing
- Auditioning and Casting Calls
- Acting Methods and Directing
- Crew Positions for Indi Filmmaking
- Model Movement and Posing
- Props, Environments, and Set Building
The cost for these is just $5 (free with membership) and helps us keep the lights on. Refreshments provided.
Peer-Led Workshops and Events
As part of our mission we are always looking for local professionals to host creative workshops and events at our Studio. Examples include:

- Sewing Classes
- Social Mixers

Looking for a quiet place for a table read? A treated room for sound recording? Perhaps just temporary space to build a set/practice something? We have multiple purpose-oriented rooms available for rent―and optional related equipment and services to rent with them.
