Ashton has appeared in plethora of local commercial, film, and print projects, and is passionate about helping new talent build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the business.

Charles Wetzel

Charles Wetzel is an acting coach at Toledo Talent and the Vice President of FilmToledo, where he plays a key role in growing the region’s film and media industry. With a background in film production and talent development, Charles is deeply involved in supporting local creatives and expanding opportunities for actors and filmmakers in Northwest Ohio. His classes focus on practical skills, on-set professionalism, and helping students connect with real industry pathways. Passionate about community-building through film, Charles brings both experience and advocacy to everything he does.

Chloe Smallwood

Chloe Smallwood is an acting coach at Toledo Talent with extensive experience in the local theater communities, as well as the commercial world. Her strong foundation in stage performances helps her students bridge the gap between theatrical training and professional on-camera opportunities. Passionate about performance in all its forms, Chloe guides actors in developing versatility, confidence, and industry-ready skills.

Samantha Ryan

Samantha Ryan is the lead talent coach and Secretary at Toledo Talent with a diverse background in acting, casting, and industry development. She is signed with Heyman, Wink, and Talent Fusion, giving her a broad perspective on what local agencies and casting directors look for. A film graduate from Full Sail University, she also has her own production company, Raw Studios, giving her plenty of relevant experience on both sides of the camera. Samantha is specialized in preparing actors and models for professional opportunities, from auditions to on-camera work, and brings a sharp eye for potential and polish. Her coaching style is direct, supportive, and grounded in real-world industry standards.

Zillian Black

Zillian Black is a local industry professional that regularly volunteers his time to supplement our staff’s “On Camera” expertise with his own technical/administrative know-how. With years of experience behind the camera and in post-production, Zillian brings a unique visual perspective to the studio’s operations. He manages daily logistics, supports talent development, provides technical training, and helps shape the studio’s visual content and branding. His blend of technical know-how and organizational leadership helps keep Toledo Talent running at its best.
