Acting is more than performance—it’s a business. In this seminar, Sadie Quinn, talent agent and owner of NexGen Talent, breaks down what actors need to know to navigate the industry professionally and strategically.
This seminar covers the fundamentals of the acting business, including representation, auditions, self tapes, branding, professionalism, communication with agents and casting, and what it really takes to be competitive in today’s market. Sadie will share real-world insight from the agency side, common mistakes actors make, and practical steps actors can take to position themselves for opportunities.
Designed for actors at any stage, this seminar is ideal for those who want clarity, direction, and a stronger understanding of how to approach their acting career with intention and professionalism.

Sadie Quinn started her journey finding acting jobs locally for her friends and practicing improv at her home studio. This lead to the co-founding of Toledo Talent, a non-profit dedicated to mentoring new Talent in the emerging Toledo market. As a former actress and model herself, she knows first-hand how much work it takes to succeed.
During her time in the industry, she has been fortunate enough to team up with organizations such as FilmToledo, WIFT Ohio, and 1st Team. She’s helped facilitate workshops and mentorships, organize local commercials, and even directly assisted with the casting for the 20th Century Studios film, “Eenie Meanie.” Now that Toledo is finally starting to appear on the film maps, however, she’s ready for more!
With NexGen, Sadie is now partnering with many of the wonderful people that once made up PCG Talent-formerly one of the region’s largest Agencies-to focus on providing guidance and support to Talent across an even larger area.
