1st Team Workshop: Acting for the Camera

Event Date:

September 6, 2025

Event Time:

1:00 pm

Event Location:

This workshop, taught by a 30-year veteran film and TV actor, will focus on providing participants with the fundamental tools and techniques to successfully approach both the audition process and on-set acting work. It should appeal to actors making the transition from stage to screen, newcomers to the acting world, and even those with a little experience under their belts. The workshop will address key concepts like camera-friendly vocal and physical “scaling”, working within the frame, continuity, and finding spontaneity and moment-to-moment specificity in your acting. The “do’s and don’ts” of self-taping will also be covered.
